What Do My Dues Support?

The annual dues that we collect from each brother are an integral part of keeping our association strong. Besides your dedication, involvement, participation, & ideas, your monetary contributions allow us to keep the Association able to plan activities and events that advance our Object. Dues are used for items such as flowers for Mills Music Missions, scholarships & commissions, support of collegiate chapters in Province 21, paper & postage for mailings, the maintenance of this website, and to offset the costs for any additional Association business and social events. All expenditures are approved by the voting membership, and are put to the best of use.

Dues are $58 and are to be paid by the Annual Meeting in May and are good for the year. We currently accept cash, checks & money orders (please make out to "Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia - Philadelphia Area Alumni Association"), credit/debit cards, and PayPal (there is a $5 processing fee as per PayPal policy for credit/debit card & PayPal payments).

Why Should I Pay Dues?

While it is not a requirement to pay dues to participate in Alumni Association activities, we strongly encourage all Alumni brothers in the Philadelphia area to become a dues-paying member. Among the reasons listed above, dues enable you to become a voting member of the Association, hold office, and support the betterment and work of the Alumni Association, Collegiate chapters, and the Fraternity, as a whole. Your payment of association dues give you a seat at the table to shape and guide the association in its goals and purposes.
